So, it’s your responsibility and you have to get the entertainment right. Because at the end of the day, no-one will remember the food, the wine or the table settings but they will remember, good and bad, the entertainment. So what are some of the things you need to think about when hiring quality entertainment?
Start planning your corporate entertainment early
Today we’re focusing on point #4 and that’s thinking about when to book an act.
Popular corporate entertainment acts are booked months in advance. Many bookings we take are well into the next year. If you don’t take action early on these things you can’t expect the act to…just be available. Too often event planners spend months planning parts of the event like the catering, the venue, the decorations but for some reason leave the corporate event entertainment to last. That’s crazy.
Now the busiest time of the year is October through to mid December especially for party style events so you’ll need to lock in the entertainment as early as March.
But whenever the event is, make sure the entertainment is booked in as early as everything else.
Well, I hope that helps. Look out for the other ‘top 7 idea’ videos in this series. Thanks for listening and please feel free to leave comments. We’d love to hear from you.
